Dungarvan Youth Band

Dungarvan Youth Band is a Youth Brass Band based in Dungarvan in the Republic of Ireland. It was founded in 2003, and is the training of the more senior   Dungarvan Brass Band. It’s first contest success came in 2004 when it won the Junior section South of Ireland Band Championships in Clonakilty, Co. Cork.

DYB is a regular guest at all concerts organised by Dungarvan Brass Band, and provides great performance opportunities for young players.

New members are recruited every September – October, and open to boys and girls from 8 upwards. No musical experience is required.
